Looking for totally new experiences? Come to Prague Zoo and take your pick. How about a tour of the zoo grounds in the company of an experienced guide, or a program with an animal – or perhaps you’d be interested in our “A Keeper For A Day” program? (Now THAT’s a keeper!) Discover favourite treets of our hippos, find...

From April to October you also reach the zoo by boat on the Vltava River. Landing station is 1.1 km far from zoo main entrance.

There are several souvenir stores in our zoo. They open at 9 a.m. The souvenir stores “U Tapíra” (By the Tapir) and “U Rozhledny” (By the Observation Tower) are closed off season.

It is forbidden to ride a bicycle on Prague Zoo premises. Cyclists can leave their bicycles in designated parking lots.

At each entrance to the zoo there are storage lockers in which you can leave your hand luggage.

You can borrow a stroller, a cart or wheelchair by the main entrance to the zoo. This service is free of charge; you just need to provide an ID number (National ID, driver’s license, passport).

In Prague Zoo, you can use five free Wi-Fi hotspots. They cover the areas of Feline and Reptile Pavilion, Giant Salamander House, Pavilion of Big Tortoises, Bororo Reserve, and Elephant Valley.

The chairlift is operated by the Prague Public Transit Company (Dopravní podnik HMP). It runs from March to December.
