Polar bears rejoiced over their new toys
The polar bears - Tom, Berta and Bora - have received new toys in their exhibit – plastic parasol bases. Tom was the happiest of all as he is the most vigorous bear in the pack, and he and Berta together form a well-coordinated pair. They love playing in the water and, if Berta does not feel like playing, Tom plays with the toys instead with the same enthusiasm.

Normally, the bears get balls, tyres, marine buoys and traffic cones for playing. The parasol bases were a completely new experience for them and Tom happily ran from one exhibit to another. He finally ended up in the water with the base, where Berta joined him after a while. The merry frolicking of the happy bears really entertained the visitors. Especially the children were excited. It was a hot summer day and they did not even mind the water that splashed on them during Tom’s jumps to the pool.
