From 1 July, there is a new park and ride area for parking at Povltavská Street. It accommodates up to 260 cars and visitors who leave their car there can use the shuttle service to the gates of Prague Zoo. Parking costs 50 crowns per day and the shuttle service is already included in the price.

The easy to use parking at the Blanka tunnel complex will save visitors what is often a futile search for a free parking space around the zoo. In addition, it will bring them financial savings. Parking at the new car park costs just 50 crowns per day, and this also includes a shuttle service to the zoo and back.

The shuttle service is provided by low-floor buses making it easier for prams and wheelchairs; the journey takes 15 minutes on average. The buses have a daily service in the summer holidays and run on weekends and public holidays in September. Drivers are led by an information system from Povltavská Street to the car park, where information boards with the inscription P Blanka-Troja and an arrow take them to the car park.

The tarmacked car park has a total area of 7,700 m2 and is intended for passenger cars and motorcycles only; it is not for vehicles over 3.5 t and buses.

In addition to this new parking area, visitors can continue to use the four car parks in the vicinity of the zoo (under the Troja Chateau, at the southern entrance to the zoo, at the northern entrance to the zoo and by the footbridge to Pod Havránkou Street). The parking fee is 200 CZK per day on weekends, public holidays and during the summer holidays.
