Photographic book
At the beginning of December 2003 a photographic book THE PRAGUE ZOO – HERBERT SLAVÍK (the animals of the Prague zoo in Herbert Slavík’s photographs) was published. Such a book has not been published since the times of Erich Tylínek. The photographer Herbert Slavík presents here part of his art works that he made in the past three years. The large-format portraits and unusual series of pictures introduce more than 60 species of animals that the author met in the Prague zoo. The photographic part is accompanied with Czech as well as English texts about the individual species of animals presented in the book.
