Flee the madding crowd of the modern metropolis to imbibe new energy in the lovely landscape in which our zoo is set. Stop to relax in places that afford uncommon views of Prague in early evening. Prague Zoo is now keeping its grounds open until 9 p.m. – so why don't you take advantage of this unique opportunity and visit us?

All you have to do is buy your ticket and enter not later than 7 p.m., at which time turnstiles, ticket counters and pavilions close. Then you can keep strolling through the grounds and experience what a zoo is like when twilight is falling. Černohouska, caffee house and daintiness, serves its specialties until 9 p.m., so the opportunity to round off the day with a pleasant dinner while enjoying a romantic view of the city is available to everyone.

Opening hours – June, July & August:

  • Ticket counters: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Pavilions and attractions (e.g. observation tower, Bororo Reserve): 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Restaurants and refreshment stands: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. (the Černohouska closes at 8 p.m. - in the upper part of the zoo, near the chairlift station)
  • Souvenir stores: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (except the U Lemurů bookstore by the Education Center, which closes at 9 p.m.)
  • Zoo grounds: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Parking lots: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
