Southern pudu
A young of the southern pudu, the smallest deer in the world, was born.
The 6th young of this interesting South American species of deer in the history of the Prague Zoo was born on 19th July 2006. The southern pudu measures in shoulder to 38 cm and has only short simple antlers. Adults are brown, but young has white spota and lines, which serves as camouflage in the dense jungle vegetation.Přiložené obrázky
