Registration for CBSG Annual Meeting in Prague.
Director´s invitation
On this occasion, I cannot avoid sharing a little bit of history. In 1959, the International Symposium on the Preservation of the Przewalski´s Horse was convened in Prague. It played a key role in the perpetuation of this species and its later reintroduction to nature. Prague Zoo was assigned by the Symposium to maintain the international studbook of the Przewalski´s Horse (the second studbook ever to be so kept), which was no doubt an appreciation of the Zoo´s importance to the breeding of this species. Indeed, three-quarters of today´s living Przewalski´s Horses have at least a drop of Prague blood in their veins.
